It was tax week in our house – we finally got all our paperwork finished and filed, and boy does it feel good to check that off the list! Since it’s been a paperwork heavy week, it seemed as good a time as any to get rid of some excess paper – a suitable vengeance even. Obviously, our tax information is still safely in the filing box, but we’ve managed to get rid of stacks of less necessary documents: old leases, school notes, pay stubs, and all manner of those random cluttery pieces of paper that for some reason seem important at the moment, only to get filed and completely forgotten. For such digital people, I’m slightly surprised at all of the paper we managed to collect, but I think we made a decent dent in it this week.
