This gardening experience has certainly been exciting so far: watching tiny little seedlings popping up through the soil, seeing how fast the peas sprang up into teetering vines … I’m quite impressed with our ability to not kill everything (so far).
It’s also been a fun project to document. I’ve been having trouble finding inspiration in Toronto’s winter: it’s mostly brown, slushy, and oh so ‘citylike’ (the audacity, I know!) But having some new green shoots to photograph has been a lovely diversion. So, I give you … our growing garden.
I may be slightly obsessed with my twisty sweet-pea vines, but I’m not apologizing. The vegetables seem to be coming along fairly well too, just so you know.
