Well, it’s been quite the adventure, but we’re finally starting to get settled in in our new city.
After a week of packing, moving and un-packing, the apartment is even starting to look a little bit like home. Hopefully by the time garbage day rolls around I will have gotten the office sorted and some artwork hung, and then maybe I’ll be able to send out some photos of our trendy little downtown pad.
In the meantime, we have done some ‘sploring around our new neighbourhood: our street is full of all sorts of fascinating shops – from vintage clothing and steampunk to pinball cafes and tons of unique restaurants, and we just have to walk a few blocks to get down to the waterfront, where all sorts of relaxing pretty-ness awaits!
I can’t wait to explore some more, but here are some of my first impressions.
